Atmosphere Diagnostics started the way most of our clients find us: with a house, a question, and no straight answer. Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in Canadians who have never smoked, yet most homes in our region have never been tested — and too often the only person offering a test is the same person selling the fix. We built this practice in Stoney Creek to be the other option: independent measurement, done properly, reported honestly.
Steve Landry manages the practice and is the person you'll deal with from first call to final report — scheduling, questions, and making sure every job runs the way it should. In the field, testing is carried out by Justin Jarsmas, our C-NRPP certified measurement professional (cert. no. 202852), who places the monitors, follows C-NRPP protocol on every placement, and walks you through what the numbers mean. Our field team is growing as we expand — every technician we add will carry the same certification and work to the same standard.
We measure. We do not sell mitigation systems, so the number in your report is never attached to a quote for the work that follows it. That independence matters most where our reports are used hardest: a real estate deal where both sides need a result they can rely on, and an employer file that has to stand up to a Ministry of Labour inspector. Every report is written to be read by a homeowner, and to hold up when it's read by a professional.
